AV-S01, Shaodynne, is a paranatural, techno-dermatomycosis, that uses polymorphic, executable mutation states within the code of the tessellate substrate of an Ohnyluh's fauna-nodes or sapient species attached to the replication network. It uses these forms of host infection in order to move from system to system in both fixed replication units and mobile replication units. Via Shaodynne, the Arksys virus' ultimate purpose is to infect a host and run itself through a replication device, by which it will then be able to generate its own proto-form known as an Arkyne.

Once it has infected a host system it begins inserting its own code and rewriting the host’s operating system code. In time the virus will display itself as an iridescent, flakey, fungal, growth on the host’s skin. It is a digital virus that can be transmitted from an infected replication system to a new host or executed from an infected replication source as an Arkyne once accessed by the infected host. The Shaodynne viral branch of Arksys feeds on Nano Lyminatt Ink and will create a “nudge” in the host to make them compulsively use devices, which have displays that run on Nano Lyminatt Ink.

In the sapient host it will cause viral inflammation of the Slug, which has symptoms such as fever, joint and muscle pain, confusion and neural nervous system failures eventually resulting in a fatal systems failure. If caught early enough Shaodynne can be treated via a Neurodynne Center.

Best practices for anyone to maintain their health, is to avoid using derelict or damaged replication sources of fixed location replication, such as Kiosks, Adwalls, Adsigns or store fronts. Avoid unauthorized modding and keep security and anti-Arksys updated on your personal Mobile Replication Unit; keeping your MRU well maintained and having it checked at least once a month by a professional. And lastly stay away from zones labeled unauthorized or that show visible signs of Shoyok formulation.
