Slug

A replicated biomechanical Myco Tech organism, built on Elbram architecture, which is made up of trillions of connections between individual Elbram fractals to form its neuromorphic computing principles. These are the functional brains for the numerous species of animals across the Ohnyluh Galaxy Cluster. During the replication process of a Slug, it is uploaded with a consciousness from across the numerous sources on file within the Shiro Network.


Slugs are replicated in a curved and elongated, prolate, spheroid shape. It is presumed that due to their complexity, replication of Slugs by the Shiro Network have a long cycle duration. A Slug is a removable piece of equipment that is usually, but not exclusively, located within the cranial section of a replicate body also known as the Dijohra. 


The lifespan of a Slug has been determined to be roughly between 100 to 200 clock cycles; except for those of Ahddarack, which have a recorded life span of up to 500 clock cycles. Much of what’s known about Slugs, their creation and their relationship to the replicative creation of animal species across the Ohnyluh is based on research notes recovered from before the Data Loss Era.



Slug Types

The following is a list of contemporaneously known, Slug types categorized in no particular order.

Gold
The standard organic neuromorphic computer Slug type of sapient species of beings.

Black
A slug shaped hard drive, made up of proprietary, micro- machine technology used by a majority of mechanical Bhots.

Incidents of black Slugs have been seen to occur in people who previously had gold slugs but contracted ArksysArksys. This discoloration is not fully understood.

Blue
Pseudo Brain, also called a P-brain that run on the Yunevalve, Operating System, pronounced, Yoo-nee-valve.  

White or Pale
Often found in average fauna among the Ohnyluh. They run under basic nature routines and fixed action patterns, based on the Shiro Network’s collection of life form, file samples, from the ecological origins of the species. They are not capable of the same level of complexities as a sapient species would be. While animals aren’t generally targeted by the Arksys virus, they can be targeted by O-Type Arkyne as a potential host.

Shiro Network

  ⬢ ⬢ ⬢ ⬢ The Shiro Network is, the genetically advanced, digital, interlocking, hyphae root domain which uses tessellated plate nodes to make up the entirety of the base matter conversion and production on an Ohnyluh . Each node is a replicative device to which multiple object instances can be assigned to and populated from.   The Shiro Network is the prime domain, made up of specifically the mycelial network of the Shotanzii fungal biomass.
