Reincarnation Cycles

Your average species lifeform on an Ohnyluh is extremely long lived if not effectively immortal. Systems malfunctions and operational errors do happen naturally due to environmental hazards, etc. Fatal errors can and do occur with the introduction of various Arksys viruses and Arkyne to the Shiro Network of the Ohnyluh Galaxy Cluster system.

Reincarnation isn't a true death but a cyclic hibernative state system, by which a user's data profile is downloaded from its Slug, back into the Shiro Network’s seed banks system where the life experience information is added to the ShiroNet database. After a term of rest and repair a new Slug is replicated as well as a SoftShell. A new user profile is created from a randomized selection of the composited data and a user’s “life cycle” is resumed.

The resumption of a life cycle starts at a new birth as a new user identity. While there is some overlap of the user’s previous data, it is not immediately accessible and generally is mixed with the data compilation of the parent donors.

Some users have been recorded to remember parts of their past lives and experiences which has not been determined if this is an error within the reincarnation cycle system or simply a side effect of death not being truly factored into the Shiro Network.

Even rarer are users who have deliberately taken on a focused technique of data recall within their own neural network as it is always empathically tethered to the Shiro Network.
