Pexyll

A Logik based Augmented Reality Game or ARG, developed by Pexyll Labs and investor group, Ayonn Group to encourage environmentalism, e-cycling and responsible refurbishment practices through a gamified roleplay system. The ARGs intention is preventative in nature as it was developed to cut down on the proliferation of the Arksys virus and its resulting paracausalities at replication sources, including the replication of Arkyne.
It is fundamentally an incentivized version of the regular Hexabit earnings system, structured around encouraging community outreach, responsibility and care for one's environment. It was created as more pliable systems of exploration and defense were needed when Hunter Bhots usage began to decline towards obsolescence as their lack of innovation and susceptibility to the Arksys virus and Arkyne escalated.
Once a potential user agrees to the ToS they are registered and can actively participate in the ARG. This ARG allows for the earning of Hexabit credits added to a person’s Base Hexabit Income.
By its nature, the ARG requires users to move across zones within the real space of the Shiro Network, using their Mobile Replication Unit or MRU, locating, scanning and fixing transceiver units, Adsigns, Adwalls and Fixed Replication Systems that are marked according to a tiered system of digital degradation and fragmentation, called the TRPL scale. They are also allowed in some instances for exploration, extraction and escort missions whereby an Arksys infected person can be delivered directly to a Neurodynne Center.
Users are encouraged to compete on the field by defragging filesystems, repairing broken code and using encryption keys to lock out other Crews, individuals and malicious actors to control and maintain affected areas. Pexyllers (independent contractors and Crews) rank across a series of leader boards and receive incentives such as unique Logik Artifact drops and Hexabit bonuses given out by individuals or companies sponsoring these individuals, Crews, areas or affected devices.
The Pexyll exie provides updates automatically for Pexyllers, according to general ToS standards and practices & GMUC compliance guidelines.
Pexyll Labs provides Pexyllers with a robust platform called The LLAB, which serves as both a storefront for purchases and a content delivery service for the Pexyll ARG. It has community features such as a rich, modder friendly open marketplace which offers Pexyllers items and exies from major publishers and independent developers, forums for social networking, matchmaking and live streaming capabilities and channels that display on the front page.
The LLAB’s open marketplace hosts several third party “micro” storefronts, where a lot if not all of the commercially marketed, sponsored and licensed Logik Artifacts are bought, sold and traded. It is hosted through its storefront API LLABWRX, which is a toolset and service created to help developers and publishers of all levels build the items they want and get the most out of The LLAB and Pexyll.
Third party clients must be approved as ToS/GMUC compliant to set up and sell in the marketplace. Pexyll Labs provides third party market hosts with TPM, Tech Protection Measures; digital content access controls so companies can restrict certain access or use of proprietary hardware or software sold and used in the game. Many Pexyllers in the DIY communities take issue with the use of TPMs as it prevents the production of after market mods.
One of the most popular third party exies sold on the LLAB storefront is the Slug Hut, a Sluggers only, exclusive micro storefront/platform of features to the LLAB platform. It allows Sluggers to exclusively host DIY produced items, apparel, and other media.
With the longevity of the game, certain unwanted aspects of negative behaviors have crept in and are sometimes encouraged by highly competitive companies; such as looting and deliberate vandalization of competitors equipment and host devices, chopping and cracking encryption keys, espionage and in some cases physical harm up to and including murder. Because of this, a regulatory commision was created of advanced Logik users in compliance with GeoMyss and Pexyll Labs in accordance with their ToS, known as the Shealukahn; these are corporate Pexyllers, who work directly for Pexyll Labs that ostensibly stand as judiciary moderators, presiding over the active Pexyll community.
Despite Logik being very old and implemented early in the post DLE, the DIY movement known as Slugger within Pexyll has become a popular subcultural movement with teenagers and young adults accelerating the desire to learn coding and design in recent cycles. Some still choose to look at it cynically as a system put in place to manipulate and shape young people into better and more responsible adult citizens, encouraging responsibility for one's self, neighbors and environment. And with the popularity of the ARG there are many companies that sponsor individual Logik Users as well as Crews, which boosts their potential popularity and the ability for said company to create additional marketing and revenue streams thus compounding the cynics argument.
