Life Extension

A medical service provided to all citizens which allows beings to revert their current configuration or condition (memo files, operating systems, etc.) to a state from a previous point in time. This is often used to help a person recover from system malfunctions such as Arksys intrusions. This procedure can also involve soft modding to restore damaged tissue or membrane of any type deemed necessary to functionality.


There are two forms of Life Extension, Slug extension, in which all information is transferred to a new Slug and replaced into the same or a customized Soft Shell as a preventative measure against Bit rot, and Soft Shell extension in which parts of a person’s wetware is replaced and repaired to prevent the genetic deterioration that happens to biomechanical bodies.
