Hexabit

A visualized digital currency system created to regulate the bandwidth usage of individuals and corporate collectives of the GMUC. Its visual representation is that of a hexagonal shape, which can be tessellated to show a level of increased value. 


Hexabit are allocated through a base monthly stipend system which is primarily determined by an individual's personal data, such as, location, health, purchasing and replication preferences, age, additional earnings, etc. which is collected by the GMUC to aide in their ability to determine which companies are outpacing or underperforming their projections, and disseminated through brokers across commercial sources to determine and service the needs and wants of the citizenry and to better advertise to the citizenry. These are also turned into data point profiles which use aspects of them in creating new Slug based personalities in cases such as when a couple or individual wants to have offspring. The GMUC's social and behavioral scientists use these collections of data points to aid them in predictive learning, used in determining the trajectory and paths potentially taken by the citizenry in order to potentially predict and prevent another War, Data Loss Era or Arkyne incursion of an extinction level event.

Other determining factors of Hexabit earnings include a number of sanctioned and unsanctioned  prerequisites including location, such as if you are located in rural areas of incorporated or unincorporated O-Space in new League territories and company towns, which would allocate the majority of bandwidth to company usage for construction and upscaling. 


Hexabit can be increased through participating in approved and certified external work or jobs. Jobs are considered beneficial to not only the community but to the individual’s sense of selflessness and self worth and are encouraged to prevent high sedentary lifestyles or stagnation of creativity. And while everyone doesn’t participate or have to participate, many feel the need to do something or keep busy in some way. The Hexabit earnings are determined by the ownership, supervising, managerial, staff or committee of the job space.

Another factor is family dynamics or inherited social status parameters such as family members of government service providers or direct reports over League territories being allocated higher bandwidth for their services to the maintenance of the territories or towns. This is considered an external job and can be dispensed across direct family members. This can include veterans of expeditions beyond incorporated O-Space, who are awarded higher earnings status upon return and whose families may also benefit from the Hexabit earnings increase. This increase is seen as a form of social status privilege and can be revoked based on what can be determined as underperformance to the community well being or via public or private acts considered antithetical to the survival of the citizenry.  


Hexabit allocation can also be influenced by privatized or locally administered social sources, via Peer to Peers or P2P systems, with determining factors such as your public actions, actions or claims in your favor or actions and claims against you that are provable in a judiciary court.
