Within the O-Space occupied and expansion territories of the GMUC, Zandts Incorporated and Gavamesh Group there are many companies and corporate organizations vying to be the creative leader in the expansion and commercialization of O-Space, establishing companies and company towns, corporately owned and operated cities and corporate towns.
While companies exist via individual ownership or small group ownership such as families, friends or group entrepreneurships, Corporations are usually government owned and sanctioned, held to government board moderation and regulation. Corporations more often create government sanctioned, digital and physical infrastructure, such as bridges, roads, YnntaNet transceiver towers, MRU, CIN, all funded and supported by the government through toll fees, grants and public-company partnerships.
Companies are moderated and regulated through the showcase shareholder system in which the citizenry, as the shareholders of all companies, get to vote daily, weekly, and monthly on items and products that they like or don’t like. If a company performs poorly consistently, then that company can be dissolved while corporations as larger government entities have the ability to petition the government judiciary system, the Nmoghx, Shareholders Council to prevent dissolvement. Dissolvement prevention is often done through corporate break-ups, which can result in many parts being spun off into smaller companies for specific branch industry survival.
GeoMyss act as the judicial representatives in the showcase shareholder system, passing down the citizenry’s decisions. The showcase shareholder system is set in place to prevent Monopolies and Duopolies from existing in what is supposed to be a true meritocracy. It is still occasionally susceptible to people and companies gaming the system to their advantage.
Government level, Corporate protection is why several newer or innovative companies will allow themselves to be purchased or why individuals at companies allow themselves to be head hunted or talent scouted from companies and sometimes other corporations, to maintain a steady influx of new and innovative ideas and products. Sometimes it is done to prevent highly disruptive or potentially dangerous technologies from being sold to the commercial market.
The following is a list of companies that hold high profiles, brand recognition, or historical high performance and significance.
