The Porratumn War

The Porratumn War, also known as the United Commonwealth Succession War was an early historical event to happen post Data Loss Era within Incorporated O-Space.

Prior to the war there was a single governing council called the Emuhrai Commonwealth, this was a corporate collective, pioneered by the Emuhrai Corporation in the rotation cycle, 95 UCE.

In the rotation cycle, 110 UCE, the Emuhrai Commonwealth backed by the Yynntah Commission, sided with the Blaklokke Corporation in their ongoing conflict with the emerging Hanneskiden company, Deklokker Technologies, over the unincorporated territory in the Porratumn Ohnyluh system. The territory at the center of the conflict, was considered to be used for non commercial purposes by the Hanneskiden; while the Blaklokke Corporation sought commercial expansion rights.

The unincorporated territories consisted of several Mohnyluhet, religious and sacred areas, considered sacred and culturally important by the Hanneskiden. But the lines drawn up by the Blaklokke Corporation would have their commercial expansion not only encroach on these sacred areas, but pass through some parts.

The Blaklokke Corporation was ultimately granted minimal and sustainable commercial rights within these territories by the Council Horeth of the Hanneskidenn. These were negotiated in the form of strict, economic sanctions, imposed by the Emuhrai Commonwealth, set in place to de- escalate and resolve the conflict.

While the Blaklokke Corporation came out the majority winner in the initial conflict, over time they eventually took a diminished role in the growing United Commonwealth, while Deklokker Technologies would gain momentum in tech innovations that would prove useful to the growing EUC.

Tensions would continue to build between the two Emuhrai Commonwealth members; and in the rotation cycle, 111 UCE, would result in a series of corporate espionage incidents, perpetrated by the Blaklokke Corporation, against Deklokker Technologies.

Several intellectual properties, patents and materials were declared stolen by Deklokker Technologies as perpetrated by the Blaklokke Corporation, who illegally accessed facilities and computer mainframes of corporate and sacred sites.

Targeted treasury sanctions were imposed against key members of the Blaklokke Corporation, including CEO, Lord Sumurreph Blaklokke. But this was deemed not enough by the Council Horeth, who spoke on behalf of all Hanneskiden, at the judiciary moderators meeting.

In rotation cycle, 112 UCE, the ongoing conflict escalated, in which Deklokker Technologies’ corporate security firm of Logik Users, known as The Wychclockers, were deployed as a tactical force against the Blaklokke Corporation, decimating many of its commercial and residential zones. The Blaklokke Corporation would retaliate by employing the services of The Shealukahn, as provided by the Emurai Commonwealth, driving the death toll well into the triple digits, on either side.

Over the rotation cycles, from 113 UCE to 115 UCE, the war continued to escalate, resulting in the Brihambl Corporation, a subsidiary of Deklokker Technologies, using an experimental team of Wychclockers called The Element Eaters, who used TRPL 5, Logik Artifact weapons, created from corrupted Ohny Relics, ultimately culminating in the complete destruction of the Porratumn Ohnyluh in rotation cycle, 116 UCE.

Due to their actions, the Emuhrai Commonwealth placed a series of heavy trade, arms, and technologies embargos, such as high bandwidth caps, on the remaining Hanneskiden population. In addition, a travel ban was strictly enforced for EUC citizens preventing travel to, or from, any remnant Ohnyluh of the Porratumn system. This, with the inclusive loss of its major Ohnyluh and a sizable portion of their population, left the Hanneskidenn economy crippled.

The Hanneskidenn had certain rights suspended and were expelled from the Emuhrai Commonwealth systems of Incorporated O-Space.

The decisions by the Emuhrai Commonwealth to support the actions of the Blaklokke Corporation would lead to the Emuhrai Commonwealth embarking on a series of reforms, including creating a Shareholders Council known as Nmoghx, made up of species representatives from across the United Commonwealth’s expansion territories generally considered highly active in their communities. This shareholders council, set in place as a mostly impartial group, was created to guide the Emuhrai Commonwealth which regularly convened with the Yynntah Commission in decision making up to that point, in order to maintain the peace and stability of the expansion leading to the formation of the Emuhrai United Commonwealth.

By rotation cycle, 125 UCE, the collapse of the Hanneskidenn’s corporate, political and influential power allowed the Blaklokke Corporation to take full advantage, by leading a series of hostile takeovers via occupation of Hanneskiden company towns and their non-commercial territories across unaffected Ohnyluh, systematically subsuming their respective companies including Deklokker Technologies and its subsidiaries.

This series of hostile takeovers was perceived as a threat to pioneer territories of the Krymzinn Thronjinn companies and Gavamesh Group regions of O-Space, which bordered many Hanneskiden, Ohnyluh. As two of the founding business groups of the Emuhrai Commonwealth, Krymzinn Thronjinn and The Gavamesh Group implored the EUC to provide tactical support against the possibility of occupation of their territories by the Blaklokke Corporation. The EUC, under the direct council of the Yynntah Commission, found tactical deployment of Logik Users in corporate security ranks to be an exhaustive and costly way to engage in politics, and thus voted to not send in members of the Shealukahn, choosing to try non tactical negotiations instead.

This would lead to a rebellion within the ranks of the Shealukahn in 153 UCE, who saw their role in the future of the growth of the EUC as diminishing. They were now having less of a central role in the expansion of the EUC, as their usefulness was being replaced in the battle against Arkyne by the mechanized innovations of Bhots, which were now produced primarily by the Blaklokke Corporation. These Bhots were less costly than Logik schooling and training for a single Shealukahn member, in addition to potentially fatal fights with Arkyne and dangerous expeditions to find Ohny Relics. It was determined by the Nmoghx, shareholders council, that securities Bhots could be manufactured on a larger scale and thus more expendable than actual lives.

A group of Shealukahn found it reprehensible to not help founding business group members of the EUC that were in the clear lines of threat, and so, broke away from the core of the Shealukahn. This break in the ranks over what was seen by some as an immoral and inevitable repeat of the conflict with the Hanneskidenn, would lead one of these breakaway groups to the creation of the Supreme Cyllindrium, a Logik council comprised of former Shealukahn, under the secession of both Krymzinn Thronjinn and The Gavamesh Group from the Emuhrai Commonwealth. The other breakaway group would become known as the Xhogynn, early founders of the Slugger’s Guild.

After this, the remaining Shealukahn, under the auspices of the Yyntah Commission, would go on to create a corporate securities entity called the Tree of Auremusto. The Tree of Auremusto would then seize power over the corporate collective known as the Emuhrai Commonwealth, founding the restructure on claims of wanting to prevent further war and maintain peace and stability. After which the Emuhrai Commonwealth was dissolved and the GeoMyss United Commonwealth was created.

The entire Hanneskidenn species was thought to have become extinct in the following 100 rotation cycles, as no reported sightings or evidence of Hanneskiden people, or Hanneskidenn activity were made during or after the rotation cycles encompassing the continued expansion from EUC to GMUC, incorporated, O-Space territories.
