Data Loss Era

The Data Loss Era or DLE was a catastrophic event which based on archeological data, happened over the course of an Era cycle, measuring roughly 1015 Rotation Cycles. It is currently the United Commonwealth Era, 596 Rotation Cycles after the Data Loss Era ended.
The Data Loss Era was when fluctuations, caused by a series of rolling power outages, interrupted the regulatory systems of the Shiro Network across an unknown number of Ohnyluh. This system wide data loss period resulted in a large amount of unrecoverable information across incorporated GMUC, O-Space. It is unknown exactly how much data was lost or what went wrong to cause such a cascading level of instability.
The stability of the Shiro Network was and is necessary to life across all of O-Space and so, a series of corporately sponsored exploratory guilds were formed in order to venture into the unincorporated O-Space, set up relays, backup data bank systems and try to find the cause of the DLE and prevent it from happening again.
Fallout from the DLE is the growth in paracausalities, or the instability of many formerly “stable” areas across the Shiro Network.
